Ventura Reopening

According to ABC News, Ventura County has been approved by the state for accelerated reopening, including allowing restaurants to hold modified dine-in service. This is exciting because it will give us all an opportunity to reconnect with one another. Here’s some more information to keep in mind:


  • As part of Ventura re-opening, restaurants are open to modified dine-in services. The National Restaurant Association recently released updated guidelines for restaurants to follow to ensure the health and safety of their staff and of their customers. These guidelines include updated social distancing and sanitization practices, as well as strict guest limits. You can read more about that here.

  • This approval also allows retail and shopping stores to operate under certain guidelines. For example, customers in Macy's will no longer be able to try on certain clothes, to prevent the potential spread of infection. Strict social distancing practices will be enforced. Some malls will provide customers free gloves and masks, in order to maximize their sense of safety. You can read more about this here. 


Some people might be really excited to return to normal; others might be hesitant, given that the risk of infection continues to be present. It is important to keep in mind that “ Ventura County has reported more than 830 cases of coronavirus since the pandemic began, with 28 deaths. An estimated 542 cases have recovered. There have been more than 17,000 tests performed in the county.”


Health officials will continue to supervise the county throughout Ventura’s reopening. And as for us, we are going to be taking all of the precautions necessary to ensure our clients’ and team’s safety. We are going to continue all our sanitary precautions to keep our team and our clients safe. This means complying with all OSHA and CDC guidelines, which include installing hand-washing stations on all work vehicles, disinfecting all equipment, tools, and trucks daily and between tasks, wearing masks, and having one technician per vehicle to ensure safe social distancing. We will continue to engage in a deep and honest understanding of how we are feeling to ensure that we are healthy and safe, and starting each working day with temperature checks. Our priority is to deliver you quality care, safely.
