Rain Gutters and the Integrity of Your Home

by Dan Glassman Owner/operator

We are in full-fledged fall season and headed into the winter, which means that we can expect rain.

Gutters are crucial to your home's integrity. They are the devices that control the flow of the rainwater, which protects your home's landscape, foundation, roof, and walls.

We recommend having them cleaned every six months, specifically in the fall and spring, when leaves are more likely to accumulate in your rain gutters.

We begin all our rain gutter and downspout cleaning jobs by removing all the heavy dirt and debris from the gutters (this is important, as rodents often like to make nests in these spaces.) Then we flush the rain gutters and the downspouts with a hose to remove smaller particles. Lastly, we wipe the visible part of the gutters and downspouts, to clean any lingering debris.

Our job is thorough and precise, which can ultimately save you hundreds of thousands of dollars along the way.

Let's keep your home protected, dry, so you can feel great all through the holiday season!
